Product description:

 Aluminum hydrate fire retardant (AHFR) of CREATE is produced by sintered technology. The product inside contains lower iron and higher whiteness. The product is a mineral fire-retardant processed through super and thin smash, and surface modified technology.

The AHFR is a kind of new high filling product. The product is no poison, no corrosion, environmental protection, no detonation behavior and has excellent fire retarding effect, becoming an important fire-retarding additive for the purpose of fire-retarding and smoke inhibitor.

The AHFR can be widely applied to composites, e.g. electrical wire, cable, PP, PE, PVC, PS, ABS and also to unsaturation polyester, paint and coating, and other plastics and rubbers.

The surface modified AHFR has improved the surface of aluminum hydrate and made it no aggregate to be dispersed into polymers as a fire-retardant. Its fire retardance, physical and mechanical properties has already approached or surpassed the international level of the same kind product.

Qualification

Application:

1. Latex product: The AHFR can be used for carpet liner, adhesive agent and foam material, board and etc. by adding 20-150 parts in 100 parts latex, and 75-250 parts in 100 parts adhesive agent.

2. Synthesized rubber: The AHFR can increase product insulation property and arc resistance.

3. Unsaturation polyester: The AHFR can make plastics with fire retardancs, smoke suppression and arc-extinguishing when it used for sheet molding compound (SMC) and bulk molding compound (BMC), therefore the AHFR can be used for glass-reinforced plastics widely.

4. Epoxy resin: The AHFR can remarkablely increase oxygen index, arc-extinguishing and arc tracking of plastics products by adding 40%-60% Al(OH)3 powder, and no any different effects at mechanical properties, process viscosity, shrink and heat resistance.

5. PVC resin: Generally, plastics product is good by adding 20-30 parts AHFR in 100 part PVC, the products can be self-extinguishing plastics by adding 50 parts AHFR in 100 part PVC, and the fire retardance of the products will be better by adding 1.5-2.0 Sb2(OH)3 as an assistance fire retardant. Moreover, the PVC product can present translucency, the dispersion and aging resistance is also better and as to the mechanical properties almost have no influence.

6. Other plastics: Not only Al(OH)3 can be as a fire retardant of acrylic resin, but also can present translucency state like marble during acrylic resin production. Therefore, the product can be made into artificial marble. Moreover, the aluminum hydrate is the fire-retardant of polyurethane foam plastics, ethylene copolymer, molded diallyl phthalate (DAP), molded melamine-formaldehyde and dilatable coating.
